Drugs should not be in food. 💊💊💊💊💊
At least with meat you can still choose to avoid it. With bread you cannot. 🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞
From 13 December ALL non-wholemeal flour in the UK, even organic flour, must contain synthetic folic acid, a licensed drug. Folic acid is a drug and it is already present in a huge proportion of the food supply, from ready meals and oven chips to condiments. Shopping at a farm shop will not help with this problem.
The government claims adding this drug will reduce the number of affected pregnancies by around 200 a year. Even if that were possible, it cannot outweigh the risk entailed in exposing about 69 million people who cannot possibly benefit.
The NHS already warns about the risks. Millions with vitamin B12 deficiency risk permanent damage to the nervous system because folic acid exposure can lead to late diagnosis. Millions of caancer patients are advised to limit intake because it can fuel cancer growth. People with heart stents, an allergy or with genetic variants affecting folate handling are also at greater risk.
For pregnant women they risk pregnancy losses, multiple births and gestational diabetes as well as effects on the unborn including atopic dermatitis, otitis media and asthma and wheezy bronchitis.

Currently sitting at ~5.2% (highest since 2008). Proper fucked.
A League Arbitration Panel has today dismissed Southampton Football Club’s appeal against the Independent Disciplinary Commission’s decision in respect of breaches of EFL Regulations.
As a result, the original sanction remains in force. Southampton’s expulsion from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs stands, alongside the four-point deduction to be applied to the Club’s 2026/27 Championship record and the reprimand in respect of all charges. In accordance with EFL Regulations, the decision of the League Arbitration Panel is final.
Following the conclusion of the proceedings, the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final between Hull City and Middlesbrough is confirmed as taking place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 23 May, kicking off at 3.30pm.

I'm often called a boomer, it's meant as a slight and usually comes from younger males who think we had it easy.
They're posting from their double glazed homes with the heating on Fridges, multiple TVs, gym memberships, and they love playing on their X Box
keeping their working hours under 21 per week so they can claim benefit
The reality of being a boomer.
We had parents who served in a war and suffered a further 10 years of food rationing so
breast milk was scarce due to malnutrition.
Being born in a cold damp house heated by a coal fire, your dad's army coat was used as surplus bedding.
Vegetables were seasonal as were childhood diseases. We fought them all off Measles, Mumps, chicken pox and even scarlet fever.
The countryside was a world away, and you only saw grass if someone in The street had a car and took you there as a weekend treat.
We didn't need a computer to occupy our Sunny Delight hyper active minds, the journey, looking out of the window was the treat.
We walked everywhere,
We usually had just one fat kid in school not a full class of them with their allergies and syndromes.
We had one special outfit known as our ' Best Clothes' and these were looked after like the robes of an ordained dignitary.
Hygiene wasn't even a thing, there were no bathrooms, the toilet was at the bottom of the yard heated by a paraffin lamp to stop the pipes freezing.
The only hot water was the kitchen sink with a water heater known as a geyser .
Used frugally to keep costs down.
Teachers smoked in schools, everyone smelled of nicotine. Windows weren't opened till May as heat was precious.
Often the bills outweighed the income and were juggled for payment .
No automatic washing machines or dryers, mangles were in the back yard to squeeze out the excess water after a dolly tub wash .
You might have to research these items.
If you wanted to learn you had to read books, there was no Google short cut .
Communication was someone five doors down who might have a phone you could use as long as you took a threepenny bit to pay for it.
The operator would put you through!.
You didn't follow your dreams, you didn't dream, you just took a job to bring money into the house and tip up to your parents to help with the bills.
No spa days no film star beauty treatments no weekends away or hen nights abroad, two weeks in Blackpool once a year if you were lucky.
This went on till you could afford to start your own dreary journey of a life as a working class Brit in the very early 60s.
This is the same generation now helping fund kids and grandkids education or house purchases because you've blown it on take aways, tattoos, designer clothes, stag nights that last longer than family holidays, and other such self absorbed bollox.
Boomers have usually contributed at least 50 years of a 42 hour week so they can have time to themselves before some health issues steals what's left of their lives.
So if choose to use social media mind your own business and get up your own end!
Researchers have developed a sustainable fiber production system that could revolutionize the textile industry.
The technology:
- Grows annually without petroleum inputs
- Biodegrades completely in natural conditions
-Requires no microplastic-producing synthetic processes
- Provides superior insulation compared to petroleum alternatives
- Naturally flame-resistant without chemical treatment
- Can be produced on marginal land unsuitable for other agriculture
- Has sustained human populations through ice ages
The fiber is renewable, carbon-neutral, and lasts decades with proper care.
Environmental groups are campaigning against it in favour of polyester made from fossil fuels.
It's called wool.
From sheep.
Who apparently destroy the planet while plastic jackets save it.
Make it make sense.
"Net Zero is industrial suicide... we've been committing it for far too long, and it has to end."
Konstantin Kisin demolishes Net Zero on BBC Question Time. 🔥
"If we reduce carbon emissions to zero, and destroy our economy even more than we already have, we will reduce global carbon emissions by 1%."
"We have the highest industrial electricity prices in the developed world. That means we basically cannot make anything in this country anymore, and we will not be able to make anything in this country anymore until we let go of this ridiculous idea that we will inspire other people to jump off a cliff like lemmings because we did."
Britain bans new oil and gas licences in the North Sea BUT spends £40 billion buying the same North Sea oil and gas from Norway.
Britain closes down its coal mines BUT buys coal from Japan.
Net zero lunacy will bankrupt our country.
Soil formation takes 500 years per inch naturally.
Well-managed grazing creates new topsoil in 10-15 years.
How: Cattle trample dead plant matter into soil, add manure, stimulate root growth, increase soil biology.
Result: Soil building 30-50x faster than natural rate.
This is how you reverse desertification. This is how you sequester carbon. This is how you restore degraded land.
And it's being done RIGHT NOW on degraded rangelands worldwide using intensive rotational grazing.
But we're told cattle destroy soil.
They're literally the fastest soil-building technology on Earth. And they work for grass.
Cattle can graze land that's:
- Too steep for tractors (40+ degree slopes)
- Too rocky for crops
- Too dry for most plants
- Too wet for machinery
- Too poor soil quality
- Too high altitude
- Too cold climate
This is 65% of UK agricultural land.
"Just grow crops instead!"
On what? Scottish mountains? Welsh hillsides?
You can't.
Remove cattle from marginal land and you get:
- Zero food production
- Import more food from worse systems
- Land degrades (no grazing management)
- Rural communities collapse
Or you could let cattle do what they've been doing for millennia: Turn grass into food on land that can't produce anything else.
IT'S HAPPENING!
The largest Norwegian dairy producer Tine has today announced they are ABANDONING the use of Bovaer.
This after major skepticism from both consumers and farmers.
Massive win for common sense💪
A cow takes grass (inedible to humans) and produces:
- Meat (complete protein + fats)
- Milk (complete nutrition)
- Leather (clothing, tools)
- Tallow (cooking fat, soap, candles)
- Bones (tools, broth, fertilizer)
- Organs (nutrient-dense food)
- Manure (fertilizer)
This is complete resource utilization from a plant humans cannot eat.
You cannot replicate this with any technology. The cow is performing chemical transformations we cannot industrialize.
Grass → complete human nutrition is alchemy.
The cow is worth more than any machine humans have invented.
It runs on rain and grass. Produces multiple products. Builds soil while operating. Sequesters carbon. Reproduces itself.
And we're told to eliminate them for environmental reasons.
While flying in almonds from California and soy from Brazil.
The stupidity is breathtaking.
BRILLIANT EXPLAINER; THE DEATH OF THE BRITISH PUB 🍺
Ever wonder why your local is struggling? For every £6 pint you buy, the landlord is left with a pathetic 13p.
The government snaffles £2.44 in tax, VAT, and "climate levies." They’re taxing our heritage to death to fund net-zero nonsense and open-border fantasies.
While the London Government sip their fancy wines at home, the Great British pub is being bled dry by the Treasury. Support your local, or lose it forever.
@mattletiss7 I almost made it but whilst out cycling 25miles my hands were cramping up so I ate a banana. Apart from that, I did it and feel great Matt
