@DanTanna19 @ForemanTaxLaw Nope. There’s a two part test. He’s a NY tax resident if EITHER that’s his domicile (sounds like it is) OR if he’s a statutory resident (in the state 183+ days with a permanent place of abode). So many people are misinformed and misadvised about this.
