Well done to the Gloucester and Tewkesbury fire crews for a brilliant job in assisting the rescue of 3 adult males and 4 canine friends from a precariously positioned narrow boat on the River Severn in Gloucester tonight. Total professionalism throughout!

Tewkesbury fire crew have assisted a lady this morning whose house has been surrounded by flood water. As usual they dealt with the incident with amazing efficiency and total professionalism.

While most are enjoying their Christmas lunch, the Tewkesbury Fire and Rescue crew were out helping a local resident who had been stranded in their home from the recent floods.
