One of the most important skills you can develop is knowing whose opinions actually deserve your attention. Seek advice from people you respect—people with experience, perspective, and standards worth learning from.
Most unsolicited feedback says more about the sender than it does about you. If you give every opinion equal weight, you’ll spend your life distracted, discouraged, and second-guessing yourself.
