@TheWavyRed @UtdGoat The thing is - some of the games won since Carrick came in the performances haven’t been great, single goal margins etc. I think a tally of 68 pts is genuinely where this team is currently at, It’s improved significantly in the final third but still concedes too many goals.
@EfcEnthusiast I hadn’t seen that previously, one of the (many) worst ones this season. Maybe time to strip VAR back to absolutes - although they get those wrong as well.
@PolitlcsUK Doesn’t matter who’s in charge - the policies and principles are the same. The biggest issues of welfare and migration were abandoned long ago.
@bazza080808@BBCMOTD Yeah exactly, just moves the issue to the edge of the box, you’d have to literally say no contact allowed until ball in play but then everyone would complain that the physical element has been removed etc. Not sure it’s solvable genuinely
@BasilTheGreat Let’s face it - nothing is changing and we know it, they won’t/cant change the fundamental issues which dog the nation , in two years time, possibly less they will be told again via the ballot box and they’ll be consigned again but this time they’ll be out and never getting back.
@Spoors1986@AndyMk_83 I don’t think that is disputed, the issue was the inconsistency of the referee for both sides. Angulo has to go as well as other yellows missed. Nobody would deny Sunderland were the better team no question but the decisions in game were a joke.
@IFutebolArte@utdreport Agreed, when UCL was secured last week you’re going to see these types of performances- changes (for various reasons) and as much as it’s important to finish as high as possible in the table a drop off of sorts was inevitable.
