Life in JHB at the moment… more water falls from the sky than flows out the taps.. 4 days out of the last 7 without water because of 4 burst pipes (all within a stone’s throw of one another).

@Our_DA 1) Surely it’s time to amend the law that says convicts (those found guilty and have served prison time) are allowed to be MPs.

2) minimum threshold for parliamentary seats to ensure stability

3) direct voting for representatives in parliament

@JHBWater What has been the delay? The “burst” happened on Sunday? The aversion to communication is astounding! How do long do you expect the citizens to make provisions for? Not all of us have back up solutions like the politicians and politically connected do.

But @JHBWater and @CityofJoburgZA gaslighting of citizens is amazing. Maybe I will gaslight them when it comes to paying my rates and taxes

@JHBWater the lack of or reluctance to share any updates is astounding… what is even worse is your customer care line… the entire time I was on hold (and next in line) to no answer. Still no updates on Bryanston outage.

@MzansiUnspun The DA are just like any other political party… they only care about themselves and power. But what they do understand is that in order for SA to grow there needs to be changes in policy. Doubling down on failed policies will only create more misery for SA.

JHB water have effectively dug up our entire road and just left the “filled” holes behind. When asking JRA to come fix their answer is “JHB water must fix the road”.

Next they going to say that city power is responsible for waste removal 🙄

@JHBWater what is happening to the outage on Ballyclare? Water is off but zero updates! When is ETR? It’s becoming a weekly occurrence now… what’s the point of even paying rates and taxes anymore

@ewnupdates Ensure that they also pay taxes (along with the taxi industry). This will allow you to reduce taxes on private individuals allowing for increased wealth creation!!

This solution will be too practical for any politician and would require them to actually do some work 🙄
