@80sGlamMetal1 A major deal and his biggest budget. I remember him in interviews back then about recording orchestras for the first time (which are all over the album) instead of trying to replicate on keyboards. In contrast, the next album Seventh Sign sounded like it had 1/100 of the budget
@HairMetalGuru Robert Mason is a great singer, but everyone other than Jani has been a disappointment. He had the vision and songs, everyone else is just facilitating their ability to play shows.
@HairMetalGuru This tour was my first concert. Saw it at the Nassau Coliseum. Openers were Slaughter and Little Caesar. Agreed on both the show and album. It’s the weak spot with too many songs. Glad I got to see Eric Carr live before he passed.
