Friendly reminder that rifles and so called “assault weapons”(not a real term) make up 1-3% of fatalities in the US. Hands / feet / knives account for far more. Banning “assault weapons” was never about safety. It’s about control.

@HowardA_AtLaw Great to see we're funding and expanding post incarceration programs. A great step toward obliterating those recidivism numbers. Maybe there is an opportunity for that man to have a meaningful and productive life as a reformed American Citizen.
