@farzyness Earnings are not profit, they are still losing money...
Also Ai spend is collapsing as we speak making this a short term blip that does not solve any of their problems long-term
@PeterDiamandis By that logic all cars should be banned, so should hammers, and making a fist. Might as well lock people in their homes to make sure they are safe🤡
@SawyerMerritt@SpaceX Reality disagrees, spending is being massively cut. There is not one example of an Ai implementation that has been profitable. SpaceX's insane spending and valuation, like that of OpenAi and Anthropic, is based on a lie

Sam Altman said AI budgeting has recently become a "huge issue" for some companies, something that "never came up" earlier this year. https://t.co/P2zODBNmDp
@unusual_whales There has been a small amount of progress made in Ai in lab settings. Outside of the lab Ai has little to no real world ROI. Forcing "progress" without discovery or invention has led us to this end of innovation.
@Reuters 94x earnings on a company that not only lost money but has zero path to profitability is insane. They are dumping stock on retail to provide exit liquidity to their institutional investors. Truly unethical
@kaicyr21@CollinRugg So where is the line? By your logic society should kill all sick people. The Nazis, Soviets, and Red China share your lack of morality
@blairforcewun@SawyerMerritt@SpaceX Never, they would have to sell 5x more cars than all cars sold globally by all companies in a year. 600x more than they do now...at a minimum. That's how ridiculous their valuation is
