Our reserves have been drawn at home to Nostell MW Thirds in the @SHCFA Saturday Trophy 3rd Round.

The tie will take place on Saturday 18th November.

Unbelievably unlucky to not get something out of the game today. The lads grafted their socks off but just couldn’t find the back of the net. Arguably the better side for 80 minutes! We go again next week in the cup! 🏆⚽️🔴⚫️

Sorry for the lack of updates. Wellers Reserves lost by the single goal. A late header by Dec Lycett rattled the crossbar, but no equaliser would come.

Yesterday our Reserves travelled to Thurcroft with a much changed side from the previous week.

17 year old Leo Elsdon kept a clean sheet, while second half goals by Luke Micklethwaite and Scott Taylor secured the points in a 2-0 win.

Danny Whysall was awarded the PotM.

Horrendous conditions made it difficult for both teams and it really should have been 4-0 at half time to us. Boys controlled large portions of the game and eventually found the back of the net!! Made hard work of it but it’s 3 points on the board! 🔴⚫️
