🚨 IRANIAN STATE TV THREATENS OPPOSITION

Disturbing rhetoric is emerging from Iranian state media.

During a broadcast, presenters reportedly issued direct threats against anti-regime Iranians, warning that opponents of the government could face severe consequences both inside and outside the country.

In one chilling line aired on state television, the message included the warning:

“Confiscating property is nothing… we will make your mothers mourn you.”

Human rights groups have long warned that Iranian authorities and affiliated groups have targeted dissidents abroad through intimidation, surveillance, and alleged assassination plots.

As tensions escalate, the threats are likely to deepen fears among Iranian activists, journalists and opposition figures living overseas.

The lives of the Iranian Women’s National Football Team are in imminent danger. After their peaceful protest in Australia, Iranian state-linked media has officially labeled them "wartime traitors."
In Iran, "treason" is a capital offense punishable by death. These athletes face arbitrary detention and execution if forced to return.
I urgently call on the Australian Government to provide immediate asylum and protection for these brave women. Australia must not allow them to be sent back to a regime that views a silent protest as a crime worthy of the gallows.

In wartime conditions, in this current state where [hostilities occur], going there and refusing to sing the national anthem is the peak of dishonor and lack of patriotism. Both the public and the authorities must treat these individuals as 'wartime traitors.' It should not be viewed merely as an objection or a symbolic gesture. The stain of dishonor and treason must remain on their foreheads, and they must face a definitive and severe confrontation."

Hanieh Safavi, daughter of the former HEAD of the IRGC Yahya Rahim Safavi, who is now a military adviser to the Supreme Leader and is PERSONALLY sanctioned by Australia, arrived in Australia on a student visa in Feb 2024. By October 2024 she had gained permanent residency. She was until recently living in Rowville, Melbourne but has since gone to ground since Iranian social media outed her.
If Hanieh fled the IRGC and her father to come to Australia, why not say so? Trying to hide suggests you have something to hide.
The Australian government has a number of questions to answer. How is it possible to arrive on a student visa in February and get PR by October the same year?
Did Safavi disclose links to a sanctioned individual or a now-proscribed terrorist organisation when she applied for her visa?
Did Home Affairs or ASIO screen her visa application and flag her high-level ties to the regime?
Has Safavi brought laundered funds into the country on behalf of her father or the IRGC for the purchase of property or other assets?
How can the Australian government guarantee the safety of those in the Iranian-Australian community and people such as myself who are victims of the IRGC and may have left Iran due to persecution by the IRGC when it allows such figures to enter our country and live among us?
