I really love that I am documenting my life on IG and sharing my thoughts and observations on X.
It makes me feel like I'm intentionally preserving who I am at the moment so that my future self can look at it all in awe of how much of myself remained and what was let go.
Is 'yours faithfully' still valid for use in letters today? Importantly, who came up with that phrase, and what exactly does it mean? Because, faithfully not yours! neither should anyone offer up themselves.
Acknowledging those who are grieving or those who just couldn't afford to celebrate. I see you, and I truly hope next Christmas is a lot brighter for you. ❤️
“Christmas doesn’t feel magical anymore.”
I’ve seen this kind of posts/comments so many times almost every end of the year. It feels like adults are in search of the festive sparks ✨️ they use to feel as a kid.
The truth is what looks magical changes with age. As an adult, the spark comes from the effort you put in 💪🏽. So hey, make a promise to yourself for next year, don’t wait for the "magic" to find you. Be the one who brings it🕯️✨.
Found a coat on sale for less than $200 that is 69% wool. Now I want to put up a fight with stores selling 100% polyester coats for over $200. Worst is when I see people checking out them out. I really want to tell them not to waste that amount of money on those kind of coats🥲
One of our top clients gave management a glowing review of my work. Got an internal shout-out with some accolades too. That little tingle feels good, lol.
I must say, the thought of sharing this here initially felt cringe b'cos 9-5 seem to be uncool on SM nowadays but durrh!
