Local residents in Thetford, Norfolk, allegedly attempted to gain entry to a property that was housing illegal immigrants. As a result, the police escorted the unwelcome immigrants from the property.

Mr Jermy, their local Labour MP, condemned the natives calling it "mob rule and vigilantism"..

"I utterly condemn this behaviour, and I know many Thetford residents share my disgust and concern".
