So sad to hear Kevin Keegan has died. Great footballer, terrific manager and a lovely bloke. Beloved in England and Germany and respected all over the world. Also, frankly, responsible for perhaps the greatest photo op of Tony Blair’s career in the mid 90s. Most of our team were scared TB would not be able to handle head tennis. Kevin assured me the night before “don’t worry …. So long as he gets it within a few feet of me I will land it back on his head.” He did RIP
Argentina are the only team out of all 48 participants not to have a single VAR intervention against them, despite committing the most fouls in the tournament. Do you even realize how insane that is?
So gutted loved King Kev. Rip x
Former English footballer and manager Kevin Keegan has died at the age of 75.
In a statement, his family said: "It is with immense sadness that we announce that Kevin Keegan has passed away at the age of 75.
The former England player and manager had been battling cancer and was surrounded by his wife and daughters in his final moments.
"Kevin, a double Ballon D’or winner, was a much loved husband, father and grandfather. The family would like to thank Kevin’s incredible medical team for all their support.
"This is a hugely difficult time and they are requesting space and privacy."

Rear Admiral Bellend is at it again.
Not everyone is lucky enough to get a £5 million bribe from a foreign billionaire to pay for their holiday, Nigel.
Besides which, the council offices aren’t even open on a Saturday. So he’s lying.
This is why I referred to the England France game as the final, it was entertaining, sporting and dignified. Football at its best. I’d have happily lost to anyone but Argentina, they’re mindless thugs. Spain deserved the win and a far better opponent.
Hi @RobertJenrick, what do you think about:
1) @Nigel_Farage stating Tate is an “important voice for men”
2) @TiceRichard RTing Tristan Tate
3) @JMcMurdockMP RTing Tristan Tate
4) @Joseph_Boam heavily promoting Andrew Tate
Are you trying to distance yourself from your colleagues?
This White Man is in court accused of breaking into a Indian woman's home and stabbing her to death while she slept next to her baby.
Imagine how much outrage there would be if it was the opposite way around.
Instead we have silence, the usual suspects won't even mention it.
NEW: A convicted money launderer has operated at the highest level of UK politics for a decade. Why? Because Farage has enjoyed almost total impunity from the UK press.
In my new piece for @thenerve_news, I expose the decade of denial that’s enabled him to act with impunity

Just to prove I'm consistent, here I am seven years ago refusing to answer questions by C4's Matt Frei about millionaire Arron Banks spending nearly £500k to fund my lavish lifestyle, while I march down the street with my mate the traitor Nathan Gill.
The 'decade of denial'. How the UK media knew full well about Farage's crimes for years, knew about his Russia connections, knew about his illegal funding and turned a blind eye to it all.
Its impossible to see how Farage and Reform can get themselves out of this one. Jesus
George Cottrell opens an account with Oneify on 28 May 2024.
Fiona Cottrell (his mother) receives cash from an “unknown” source and transfers £1m to Oneify in June 2024.
The money goes to Richard Tice’s company.
The level of detail being reported in this...does not look good for Reform..and i mean on a police level.....
Very sad to hear about the arrest of Andrew Tate. He has been charged with rape, human trafficking, controlling prostitution and actual bodily harm. I once described him as "an important voice for young men", which tells you all you need to know about my moral compass.
So let me get this right Reform Leader Nigel Mirage makes a rare appearance in his constituency, and points at work that needs to be done to improve it. What has he been doing for the past 2 years, isn't it his job as a local MP to be on top of this?
