@BBCNews as someone who had their prostate removed 18 months ago due to prostate cancer all that is reported are the negative aspects of treatment. I have had no ill effects from my prostate removal and if it had not been found when it was by screening I might not be here now

I am putting this out there because I had no symptoms. I came home this weekend from a short stay in Guys Cancer Hospital in London after having my prostate removed following a diagnosis of prostate cancer. If you are male over 50 please go and have a PSA blood test.
