@AmyShiraTeitel "OK" is the common two-letter abbreviation for Oklahoma. Whether Oklahoma itself, or its inhabitants, can be considered "OK" is probably a matter of personal opinion. I have an aunt and some cousins who live in Oklahoma, and I think they are OK. 😀

@AmyShiraTeitel I grew up in the US, and I've never pronounced that word like "sense". More like "sunse" or "sinse" (totally unstressed schwa sound). For that matter, I've never heard anyone (American or Canadian) pronounce it with a stressed last syllable. This person may have misheard you.
