@KGRussellwrites@whimsillusion was great with their R&R. It was difficult to go through that last round of edits, but they ultimately made my novel better and I'm grateful for it. I had a really good experience with them too and the contract didn't have any "gotchas" or red flags.
@thebengalorian It's a difficult time on base now with personnel down. My org is 20% down from last year. It's just not in our DNA to let mission fail, even with lower numbers, but it runs you ragged.
@whimsillusion Not really scary, but my favorite go-to Halloween book is The October Country by Ray Bradbury. So many Halloween short story gems in that collection.
@CharleyGreiner Glad I'm not the only one that immediately thought of Gladwell. I wouldn't say it was all Gladwell's idea though. He takes from reports and other analysis too.
What's sad is it's not some new problem. Hopefully Fielder gets a bigger spotlight on it. The Rehearsal was awesome.
@DOGE I'd like to see background data on savings to include contract number, vendor, type and realized savings from contract cancelations (deobligation and price reduction versus total contract value). Oh, and if saved dollars goes back to the treasury or diverted to another program.
