Mushrooms are a great subject to shoot with a Macro lens, and I have done a bit of this recently while out and about in the forest. Now, this photo was shot with the 100mm Macro Lens, and I accept he isn't a Mushroom. Although he is a
Funghi! (see what I did there, fun guy, no?)

No filters. No Tripods. Just a hand held shot from the Roadside. The lighting in Lamar Valley, in Yellowstone National Park was stunning this day.

This Lone tree was gets perfect separation from the mountains in the background, thanks to a slight haze in the air.

My most recent attempt at a macro shot.

This small bug was on my window when I arrived home. It was about 5mm long. There is a mixture of single shot, and a stacked shot (30 images).

Rubbish background, but I'll take it as a practice shot!

As a beginner in Macro Photography, I captured the intricate details of a dragonfly on a green leaf.

Handheld, one shot in sunlight does not make for a great photo.

This clump of lilies sat just of the edge of a larger group.

As a whole there was no photo there for me, but just by isolating these lilies, with the dark morning waters, the photo works. For me anyway!

The trees look almost like an island, creating a stunningly serene atmosphere.
