Never said under-the-table pay NEVER happened. I’m sure things happened just like they did everywhere else, but acting like Alabama’s success was solely because of money ignores the development, championships, NFL pipeline, and culture that made elite players want to be there in the first place. I personally never received anything, but I’m also not naive.
The point is that the narrative that he only recruited so well due to allegedly paying players is lazy and flat out wrong. Ironically, other schools are the ones that were really throwing around money to be able to compete since everyone wanted to go to Bama but y’all don’t want to talk about that.
The best players wanted to be developed by the best, compete for national championships, and have the best chance to make it to the next level. It’s that simple.
@JakeCrain_ 2015, had the King at Rb, Ridley at receiver. Ryan Kelly at Center and Cam Robinson at Tackle. The defense kinda explains itself if you look up the depth chart and then see where they all got drafted, especially 1-3rd string on the D-Line. Also had Coker who was a dog at QB.

Yaxel Lendeborg's first season at Arizona Western College (JUCO) was in 2020-21.
Amari Allen, the player guarding Yaxel, was in 8th grade at that time.
@nana23356 @TopTierBama@MarchMadnessMBB@umichbball Bro Yaxel had to go juco outta high school because his grades were dog shit. Him and Bediako should both not be playing. Also trying to make Aden seem like some evil person when he was literally using something that is legal in the state of Michigan is insane work.
Nate Oats has Alabama in the Sweet 16 for the fourth straight season 🐘
