Any chance of explaining the double yellow lined parking bays ?
Is this parking pontoon. Park or twist ? Ticket or no ticket lotto ?

@GrahamSpiers Hi Graham, I have 20+ scrambles running across Scotland this year in aid of SAMH. Golf Clubs all over Scotland are standing up for mental health this summer from Gullane, Bruntsfield & Ladybank to Montrose Murcar & even Orkney.

Alas, I'm sure the street wouldnt look as nice with rubber kerbing, hundreds of wands/bollards and a lot more paint on the ground. The city is becoming a mess. But this is a refreshing pic. @edinspotlight @Edinburgh_CC You could just walk down the pavement rather than the road and still enjoy our amazing promenade when you get there.
Parking on silverknowes road at the bottom on these few & far between sunny days used to help more people enjoy our outdoor spaces.

@Edinburgh_CC a very quiet thursday today & yet I couldnt unload my delivery to a local business on George IV bridge. Parked in the nearest loading bay which was a 6 min walk away on South Bridge.Can you advise if there is a closer one?
