@JohnV_LEON need to sort out service issues at Channel Tunnel Leon. Usually great service. 15 min wait in Q then told further 15 min wait for coffees. Understaffed too. Pity as guys were trying their best.
@bbcaaron Wow - proper end of an era Aaron. Will miss you on screen and wishing you all the best in the next chapter, you will be a success whatever is ahead. Stay in touch .
Maybe there’s a realisation that the problem is bigger than just the PM. If you treat public with contempt and waste billions of their money on vanity projects while the country’s falling apart, you’ll have to answer for it sometime. It’s not all that difficult to understand.
@BowenBBC@sophieraworth Looking forward to ordering. Enjoying your analysis on the live spots on the 10 and glad they actually give you time…, it helps me be less ignorant of what you describe as something incredibly complex.
This article from 2002 on BBC Online shows my former employer referring to Al Qaeda as terrorists. It now must do the same with Hamas. It can’t stay on the fence any longer and I would argue it’s editorially biased if it doesn’t reflect the facts on the ground.
Max Hastings… Max HASTINGS, the former editor of the Telegraph and Mail columnist, is voting Labour. He calls Rishi Sunak’s government “dreadful” and led by a “loser”, Suella Braverman’s policies “grotesque”; Brexit a “disaster”. It’s over. https://t.co/L4YBuUJMmx
What’s this - the UK finally growing up and collaborating with our neighbours again? Bravo. Horizon: relief for science as UK rejoins £81bn EU programme

Wow. Wonder if Tories and their media supporters have thought through the consequences of encouraging law-breaking in protest against policies you dislike

Martin Rolfe, the CEO of NATS on @BBCr4today getting tangled in the weeds in this interview….difficult one to win given the chaos - but perhaps offering to relinquish any bonus might be a starting point when your base salary is close to £500K.
Great piece by @CNNTravel on our little corner of Portugal. Check it out if you’re planning to visit. Good local tips and accurate #alentejo 🍷 https://t.co/5WVpeXVjSk
Well done @RishiSunak for confirming the wheels have well and truly fallen off. I’d settle for higher investment in the NHS. Desperate electoral posturing.
Talking about freedom, sat in Margaret Thatcher’s old Rover.
Earlier I spoke to @Telegraph about how important cars are for families to live their lives. It’s something anti-motorist Labour just don’t seem to get.
And it’s why I’m reviewing anti-car schemes across the country.
@Lisychka2 @Best_of_PT Thank you. It’s a regular pool with v low amounts of chorine. A natural pool would be amazing once it’s set up. Good luck with your own renovations - looks like your place will be amazing.
Some of you may know that we have recently been refurbishing a small farmhouse in Alentejo, Portugal. It will soon be available for occasional holiday rentals. If you are keen to see progress, do follow us over on the IG page: https://t.co/fkpTeV5Ddv #alentejo
So when 🇺🇸 imposes it on British people, it’s no big deal.
But when 🇪🇺 imposes it on British people (and all other non-EU-citizens), it’s a “big brother visa”.
This is consistent from the powerful 🇬🇧 tabloids, who idolise 🇺🇸 but have disdain for Europe.
@SteveDunne@NatWestGroup@Nigel_Farage@BBCSimonJack One of the most stunning things to me of crossing from the BBC to Comms is the number of CEOs who think media training is beneath them and they know exactly how to handle journalists - before then blundering a briefing and going off piste. Look and learn from this.
