This lady from Stettler devoted weeks of her time to crochet this magnificent throw blanket for me.
Words can’t express my gratitude. I will cherish it forever.
THANK YOU!!!

Very long line to vote (60+ people). I wish I could attribute this to voter enthusiasm. But it comes down to Elections Calgary being woefully understaffed and disorganized. If voting takes this long, I dread to think how long counting will take. Shameful, really. #yyc

On August 9, we commemorate the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples! Public schools work to ensure the educational success of First Nations, Métis and Inuit students as stated in Alberta's Education Act. The #PSBAA and its members are committed to ongoing reconciliation within their schools and communities.
This year, the Association recognized Northland School Division with the Promoting and Advancing one or more of the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (TRC) in Relation to Education within Alberta. Northland's work supports TRC Calls to Action 10, 14, 62, 63 and 64. Examples include teaching students on the Land and helping them learn Indigenous languages, working with Elders and adding Indigenous language signs in schools, and creating Elder & Knowledge Keepers and Youth Councils to help guide school decisions.
Keep on the pulse of public school education achievements like these by following the #PSBAA on social media and visiting our website: https://t.co/qMrGCcoCCH
Seems like these Alberta seniors have something to say about separatism.
When we kick off our #ForeverCanadian campaign, this will be the first building I’ll visit with our petition. 🇨🇦

The UCP fanning the flames of separatism is bad. This is not a partisan issue, even UCP founder Jason Kenney thinks the current government is on the wrong track. #AbLeg
Danielle Smith's separatist agenda is hurting our economy:
"Nancy Southern says ...the prospect of Alberta independence is raising too many questions for companies to feel confident making big investment decisions." https://t.co/KCZkxa4W2A #abpoli#ableg#cdnpoli
