Today is World Cancer Research Day, recognizing the discoveries driving progress in #cancer care. Across SOTIO’s ADC platform, one focus of our research has been expanding the therapeutic window of these therapies.

The therapeutic window is the dose range of a medicine that provides effective therapy and avoids serious side effects. A wider therapeutic window means more flexibility in dosing and a larger safety margin.

Our research aims to expand our ADC candidates’ therapeutic windows by innovating in target identification, linker technology, and antibody design – with the end goal of creating safe and effective therapies for cancer types with very few treatment options today.

SOT106 has received two additional designations from @FDA: Orphan Drug Designation for #SoftTissueSarcoma and Fast Track Designation for #Osteosarcoma.
Our potentially best-in-class investigational ADC targeting LRRC15 now holds both designations for both primary types of sarcoma. With a first-in-human clinical trial expected to begin later this year, SOTIO is advancing development of SOT106 with the hope of delivering a targeted therapy with benefit across sarcoma subtypes. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (@FDA ) has accepted our investigational new drug (IND) application for SOT106, enabling a first-in-human Phase 1/2 trial in patients with #osteosarcoma and soft tissue sarcoma. SOT106 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (#ADC) targeting LRRC15, a clinically validated target broadly expressed across multiple highly prevalent #sarcoma subtypes. Sarcomas are a diverse group of cancers with limited targeted treatment options, and this milestone moves a potential best-in-class therapy one step closer to patients with sarcoma and other LRRC15-positive malignancies. We look forward to sharing additional updates as SOT106 advances into clinical development.

Today we announced the @EPOorg Boards of Appeal have upheld European Patent EP 3 444 271 B1, confirming intellectual property protection for SOT201, our next-generation PD-1-targeting immunocytokine. SOT201 is currently being evaluated in our Phase 1 VICTORIA-01 study in patients with advanced solid tumors. This decision reinforces the strength of SOT201 as it continues to show a high disease control rate, including objective responses in heavily pre-treated cancer patients. Thousands of kilometers to work – by bike. 🚴‍♂️
I truly admire my colleagues at @SOTIO and SCTbio who take part in this initiative. Some of them commute by #bike every single day, in all kinds of weather – and not just in May.

Two wheels, many kilometers, and a shared commitment to sustainability! For the 9th year, SOTIO and SCTbio colleagues joined the ‘Bike To Work’ initiative. This year, 26 participants covered a total of 8,400 km, helping to reduce roughly 1,374 kg of CO2 emissions and supporting a more sustainable communing culture. Congratulations to this year’s top performers: Irena Kabátova (613.37 km) and Christian Frantz (933 km).

Team Slowrider, consisting of Petra Svobodová, Adam Těhník, Martin Pávek, Aleš Slavíček and Jakub Lipovský, took first place with 2,335.82 km. Team Kološlapky followed with 2,084 km, and Team Kolohnáti with 1,601.5 km. Thanks to everyone who participated!
