That is Kenneth Griffin, head of Citadel Securities. I'm turning 62 next month, I've seen a lot, made some great decisions, some poor decisions, and decisions when my sense of things mattered. That's the problem. I've been called brilliant by many, a genius by a few, and sensitive by those smart enough to get me. Over the decades something significant has changed, markets have become difficult to predict in a way that doesn't make sense to me. I used to predict at an 80% accuracy, I've not been able to do that for a little over a decade. It's been unsettling.

That said, I've gotten some broad strokes right. My advice is know how to make and grow things, go to church, love your wife, pray, teach your children all of the above.

I've met them all, except the base player that replaced Jason who is the coolest of cool, the Lars and the other guy are okay. I am obviously unimpressed by celebrity to celebrity and get treated a little different because of it. They are very talented guys who work hard at it. The first time I met them, I didn't know who they were. I asked them what they did for a living.

@MattWalshBlog You'll start thinking about dying, which is what aging is, when you hit 60 or, God Forbid, you are diagnosed with a terminal illness. The immortality drug doesn't exist yet and I doubt it ever will; however, anything that can be done to slow, stop, or reverse aging is welcome.

The goal of CNN and organizations is to put forward stupid people as smart, declare black as white, declare the lie as truth, and destroy western civilization, that's the ultimate goal. I remember a guy I knew when I was in my early twenties, who left his wife for his secretary who was 20 years younger and considerably more attractive. He was extremely successful at the time, making millions a year. He absolutely F'd his wife over and abandoned his two sons. He married the woman he left his wife for and had a couple of kids with her. Twenty years later I ran into him and asked about his life. "My wife left me, I lost everything, and I blame it all on alcohol." I remember thinking, man this guy is clueless. You lost everything and your life sucks because you are a jerk and it has finally caught up with you. The moral of my story and all that bear similarity is that it doesn't pay to be an asshole. The wisdom of the story is enjoy your life, be there to bath in good fortune when you have itl

She decided she wanted to be a biker chick in 2000, a decision that didn't work out well for her; she's definitely not hot anymore. That said, she was mine when she was at her hottest. She was one of the top Vegas Showgirls. I've thought about writing a book about my life centering on that period. When she first left I was devastated because I was deeply in love with her. A buddy of mine said to me back then, "she's going to come back", I said, really! He responded, "yup, she wil come back and when she does you are not going to want her." It played out the way he predicted.

I've seen my situation play out in the lives of others many times, I've not seen it go well once.
