We are deeply saddened by the passing of Justice Murray Sinclair, a leader whose legacy of courage and wisdom profoundly shaped the journey of truth and reconciliation in the land currently known as Canada.

As Chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, he shed light on the painful truths of our shared history and inspired countless paths forward, including our own work at the National Reconciliation Program. His vision and dedication continue to guide us in building a future rooted in understanding, respect, and healing.

Today, we honor his life, his contributions, and his unwavering commitment to justice. Our thoughts are with his family, loved ones, and all who were touched by his work.
