My name is Richard Otto, Retired Sergeant First Class (U.S. Army). I am asking for help to fulfill a dream that has become a mission: helping homeless veterans and their families.

Every day, I see veterans living in culverts, forced to move out whenever it rains, completely exposed to the cold, wind, and harsh weather. These are men and women who served our country—and now they are left without protection or stability. With my limited personal resources, I do everything I can, but it is not enough. Our veterans do not deserve this.

As cold weather moves in, I ask you to think about the veterans who will be sleeping outside this week—no shelter, no warmth, no safety.

I am working to establish a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless veterans by connecting them to food, resources, identification replacement, VA services, and long-term support. I plan to start in Texas and build chapters wherever homeless veterans are in need.

The funds raised will be used for:
•Filing and legal costs to establish the 501(c)(3) nonprofit
•Purchasing a laptop so I can properly manage paperwork, outreach, and coordination
•Laying the foundation to serve more veterans with dignity and consistency

Any amount helps. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this request. From the bottom of my heart—and on behalf of the homeless veterans who are struggling right now—thank you for your support, compassion, and respect for those who served.

With gratitude,
Richard Otto

I need financial assistance in submitting the paperwork for a 501(c)3. I’m going to focus on Texas first and create chapters wherever there is homeless veterans. I need a laptop to make it easier to work. The amount of money needed is $5,000.
I thank you for your assistance from the homeless veterans. https://t.co/vgTAzqxvLk
