few months ago, after arbeloa’s first la liga win, i asked @KiyanSo on his twitter space what he thinks about a mourinho comeback (wasn’t on the cards at the time). he said he doesn’t want that and doesn’t think it’ll ever happen.
i 1000% believe mou is the right guy.
@KiyanSo it’s so easy to look back at think we were playing well, but reality is that we could see it wasn’t working, especially in the big games. we got thumped by psg, liverpool (this awful liverpool), even city(the same city we beat during arbeloa). and we could not defend.
@savithatdude This conversation is probably not needed. We don’t really know any of these guys. For all we know, the next president might already be decided. I feel personally that the board will be leaning towards someone with a similar vision with Perez. But…..we don’t know anything
Arbeloa has sat down with Alexander-Arnold to ask him to leave Real Madrid for his own good.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has been informed he is not part of the team’s plans, and his contributions on both the offensive and defensive sides are not good enough. [@elnacionalcat]

🗣️ Jose Mourinho: "It used to be believed that whoever won the most was the best, but that's no longer the case. Now, whoever creates the most perceptions is the best.
There are coaches who try things that don't work and fail, but they say, 'I died with my idea.' If you die with your idea, you're stupid."
"I went to the Premier League in 2004, as the champion of Europe, and that year only two foreign coaches made it to the Premier League: me and the UEFA Cup winner, Rafa Benítez, who won with Valencia and went to Liverpool; I won with Porto and went to Chelsea.
Today, coaches whose names I don't even know go to the Premier League, and I don't say that without respect; it's true. Some coaches are chosen by datas, numbers, not by victories.
Perceptions are created, and today the idea is sold that, more important than winning, is playing like this, looking like this... at that level, things have changed radically."
@RmadridElRey Crazy how many people don’t realize that’s obviously instructions from Xabi to stay wide and stretch the pitch to try to create space in the middle and break low blocks. That’s not on Vini.
