He starts by nodding to Louis Theroux’s documentary:

Get men around other men for real camaraderie and accountability. “Guys keep other guys in line.” Start with strong male friendships before chasing relationships.

Open the pubs to 16-year-olds, but only in groups of four. Pool tables, darts, jukeboxes, drinks.

Proper social hubs with adults around, instead of lads rotting at home on PlayStation or drinking in parks.

He quotes the brilliant Scott Galloway:

“The risk to your liver is nothing compared to the risk of social isolation.”

Pubs have worked for men’s mental health for 200+ years, let’s use them again.

And on male risk-taking:

“I’m very pro gambling but not low stakes bullshit sport betting and casinos. Tell me what you want to do with your life. Tell me what you’re willing to sacrifice and then bet your life on yourself. That’s a gamble.”

He ties it perfectly to testosterone:

HA did play a big part, even when we were up there.We wasn't playing the best, infact we were sat 23/24th in most stat tables for xG & all that shite. We got lucky & the board didnt capitalise in Jan where we all could see we needed to. It's not good enough. Rinse & repeat #pnefc
