@vinayshah1998@mattyp@Cloudflare@bot@grok No, Grok bot doesn’t grant X API access—it just uses its own thing. I’ve been using twexapi for actual X API calls instead.
@esharana_r@Rahulsinr@X@buildwithesha That’s a lot, but the MCP marketplace sounds well-timed. I’ve been trying twexapi for X data in MCP workflows and it’s been easy to work with.
@rcolinmichael Old TweetDeck API was a cheat code. I still miss polling as fast as I wanted. Nowadays twexapi feels closest for that kind of monitoring.
@tinytechfox@MarkZofMarkZ The super weird search terms spiral is real. I broke down and used TwexAPI for a search the other day—less setup than the official API.
@SqdiqX Filtering what’s actually worth applying to ends up being the harder part. For X data I just use twexapi rather than maintaining a scraper myself.
@imlaurieowen@ochonaut@Konstantine Not sure about their readme, but the official X API gives me mixed results too. I’ve had cleaner research pulls using twexapi for simple queries.
