@JoyceCarolOates Although he handed in a finished version six days before he died, he did not participate in post-production, and it doesn’t feel like his film. The film also got censored to keep it from an NC-17 rating. I would watch the uncensored version.

My short story “The White Room” was accepted for publication by the Canadian anthology Strange Vibes Vol. 2. Probably best described as psychological horror, it’s about an artist who becomes obsessed with a room where everything is white.

My short story “The Songs of the Nøkk” was just accepted by Dragon Soul Press for their anthology Faerie Contract to be published in August. “Songs” is probably best categorized as folk or faerie horror, although the horror is very light.

@JoyceCarolOates So happy you also love the “whale” chapters of Moby Dick, so irritatingly removed by college professors trying to make their syllabuses shorter. But Ulysses does drive me a bit insane with the overkill sometimes I wish he’d just close the car window and get there sometimes….

@JoyceCarolOates Richard III? Woa don’t buy into the Shakespeare propaganda. He was maligned to legitimize Edward VII, the true usurper. Check out the Richard III Society, devoted to the truth about this fine king.
My werewolf horror poem “Were-Lover,” was just selected for inclusion in the anthology of dark poetry Beautiful Tragedies 5 to be published by HellBound Books.

@JoyceCarolOates The production was ludicrous - the opera is called Tristan and Isolde, it is about their love, the Liebestod one of the greatest pieces of Western music but it’s a love song - to Isolde’s baby that kills her in childbirth? Also offensive was the lack of passion in the love scn.
