@JZeal93@Whooperjr88@henrywinter The other thing we didn’t adopt is the incessant whining. Fields, stadiums, food, weather, even seen Brit’s whining about people eating food in the stands and how doing so apparently ruins the culture of the sport.
Absolutely the softest group of people I’ve seen.
@NotEvenWounded In case you’re curious, this is how Americans are responding to people NOT whining about everything. Quit being a miserable cunt and the reception will be much better.
@Atty284@poastlegs@LouSirr101 More so flexing that you haven’t beat us (including 2010 & 2022).
Extremely sad for the nation that invented the sport.
@Logicull@NHstopguy From someone who’s been to many English soccer games, the crowd sucks. Stadium partially full most of the time because the fans are more worried about getting drunk than the actual game.
Wembley and Craven Cottage were mid at best.
@poastlegs@LouSirr101 I’ve seen euros complain about having to walk across parking lots to get to stadiums.
They just want something to whine about, doesn’t matter how ridiculous.
@LouSirr101 Half the stadium watched the games on little tv’s on the concourse because you can’t bring beer into the stands and fans were more concerned with getting drunk than actually watching the match.
@Connor1398177@CathyYoung63 Our founding fathers would disagree with you. They were very specific in stating being American is not about ancestry but rather about a shared set of principals. Life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, etc.
