Barry Bonds had ALREADY accumulated a HOF resume by 1998, pre any association w/Balco and Victor Conte.

IMO You can’t UNDUE a HOF resume.

Cooperstown has lost relevancy because of the way they’re handling Bonds and the PED era.

It’s a museum. Tell the PED story and let it speak for itself throughout history, but to deny Bonds and Roger Clemens entrance while Bud Selig, the man who presided over the entire steroid era and directly profited the most from the era, is already inducted.

The Baseball HOF has lost credibility. It’s now a place where Bud Selig, a used car salesman, who currently has a net worth of $400M, largely due to revenue generated during the steroid era, is welcome, but mega baseball talents like Bonds/Clemens aren’t. It’s wild.
