Some thoughts.
Firstly, Gouws used taboo words to emphasize a point about … racism. The intent of what he was saying was not to be racist, it was in fact clearly a statement against racism unfortunately phrased in a way designed to shock by using racial slurs illustratively.
Secondly, we forget how much “cancel culture” has grown since 2010. It was not, pre the BLM era, and the growing hypersensitivity around race issues, entirely taboo to merely utter a word in the context of discussion when not intended as an insult. In fact, the phrase “cancel culture” did not even exist in 2010.
Thirdly, it should be obvious that whoever disseminated this video and the previous “milder” one would have had these clips for a long time prior to this election. It should be clear by now that the release of these has been carefully timed to maximize disruption of the GNU, annihilate Gouws and smear the DA.
Sadly, there will be no mature, measured, debate on this. It is obvious that Gouws is finished politically, and no amount of discourse will make any difference to the baying masses that only see that a white man said the K word and the N word and so he must be a typical white racist. Context is irrelevant to them.
Finally, it strikes me that real enemy here is the sophisticated forces that so carefully timed and manipulated these revelations to destabilize not only the fledgling GNU but the country as a whole. We should be asking questions about where this is coming from.
Can anyone explain why saying "kill the blacks" is wrong, but saying "kill the whites" is perfectly acceptable?
That's Renaldo's question.
And no one has answered it. They're all pretending to be suffering from a case of the vapors because he used strong language.
Hypocrites.
Here is the FULL 6 MIN video I stitched together from the archives.
It has been completely manipulated to deceive YOU and other South Africans to affect parliament and the credibility of the DA.
The context of this video is extremely important and you should pay close attention to all of it.
The truth will always come to light, even when really dark forces are attempting to destabilize this country.
Someone's head is going to roll for this and it won't be @RenaldoGouws@helenzille@jsteenhuisen@Our_DA
This makes me so cross.
1,200 residents in Langa lost everything to fires.
40,000 KZN residents impacted by floods.
30 million SA residents live in poverty.
But Cuba. WTF. What is this Cuba obsession?
I really dislike our government.

@sexandtheswiss The Crazy thing is the Rwandan and Eritrean Cycling Federations seem to have it right, with good support for anyone getting into racing
@sexandtheswiss Well let’s hope British Cycling (Actually all cycling federations) and all those in the Racing Categories, come to realization that they need to support and get the buy in from entire cycling community
Especially those new to Racing…

When Africans and Arabs flee their failed Countries in terror, you never see them head to China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, India and other #Dicktatorships. They run to the West. Ever asked yourself the question why that is?
This is how it’s going to play out: 🧵
As things stand there is no legislation to which regulations which require things like masks and a limit on gatherings are pinned. Thus those regulations are meaningless and unenforceable.
However Government knows most will just follow.
The State of Disaster isn't "really" gone. They have applied the same limitations for a 30 day period and then want all of the same limitations to be a permanent feature in the Health Amendment Act. Fight against it by signing the DearSA Petition here: https://t.co/PXWuZgMh8M
I've had enough of politicians and ex-policemen hiding behind a wall of armed close protection officers (that we pay for) telling me I have no right to own a gun to defend myself.
My Right to Life is not inferior to theirs. They serve me, and they must learn their place.
