We are the MAPPT, a co-located unit of @hmpps and @gmpolice staff and officers. We're responsible for the effective coordination of the MAPPA framework in Greater Manchester, as well as training, co-working complex cases and supporting colleagues from across all GM partners.

SORT facilitators were interviewed this week by HMIP as part of the thematic inspection into nerodiversity in the CJS. The inspectors commended them on their professionalism and commitment in doing a very difficult job. It felt powerful feedback and a real boost to staff morale!

Polygraph tests have been used since 2014 as a licence condition for those convicted of certain sexual offences under supervision.
Monitoring will be extended to terrorist offenders as part of the upcoming Counter-Terrorism & Sentencing Bill.
