It's really ironic. I work in AI and plan to pursue a PhD. My current organization does not provide any funding for my research, and my advisor insists that I need to pay out of pocket, while my monthly salary is only two to three hundred dollars. Although I collaborate with many companies and institutions, I have no resources to conduct any experiments.

I am feeling very frustrated. I am doing a Ph.D., but my supervisor has made me bear all the research funding expenses. I am truly saddened by this, as I have to not only assist my teacher with projects but also fund my own research expenses. I am exhausted, and I don't want to pursue my Ph.D. anymore.

Tibo will not need to push user growth through resets. People will use the codex themselves because of Asra's own use. And Astra doesn't waste time with the 5.6sol nonsensical and constantly defensive issues! Very surprising! I will consider promoting codex for everyone's use.

I have quite a few uses for it.
1. As a student, I use it to learn about the knowledge I missed in class and to conduct experiments with Claude Code when writing papers.
2. I use it to turn some of my ideas, such as entrepreneurial concepts, into software or business plans, and discuss them with classmates and friends.
3. I use it to discuss some whimsical and imaginative topics with him, such as history, and ask his views on human development, as well as the moral knowledge of AI, etc.
4. I use Claude Code to manage our family's insurance and various medical information. My parents don't have much education or cultural background, so they are not very familiar with these policy-related things, and I don't understand them very deeply either. However, I organize and keep all the documents together, so that in case of any emergencies, I can directly have them analyze useful information for me.
5. Part-time work, I will take on some small part-time jobs, such as helping others design UI or developing small software, which can support my living expenses and tuition fees.

I have been investing a significant amount of money in AI, as I have been renewing my subscriptions to gpt and claude since two years ago, and now I renew claude Max, gpt pro, and cursor every month. I will share my recent experience with cursor @cursor_ai @poteto , thanks to the cursor team for the previous gift of the pro+. However, there are some issues I can't help but mention.
1. Firstly, the quota for the first model pool is quite generous, but there's a problem with my auto mode routing. It hardly achieves true auto, and it always routes me to a fixed, low-priced model for several days. For instance, I've been using the gpt-5.6luna for several days now, even for complex tasks, it still routes to gpt-5.6luna. This makes it very difficult for me to make it perform complex tasks (actually, they're not that complex, just to make it follow a picture to create a UI). So, I think cursor's auto mode, although generous, is limited to being a toy. If they can truly implement auto routing to different models based on the difficulty of the task, that would be great.
2. I had to specify grok4.6 to complete the task. But the token consumption is fast, and I cannot specify grok4.6's sub-agent as auto to use a cheaper sub-agent.
3. Even though I enabled the multi-task mode, it still automatically uses a single sub-agent to complete all complex actions, unless I specifically request to distribute the work among multiple sub-agents. No matter how complex the task, it will always be a single sub-agent working unless I remind it.

I set a bot let him build a teaching team including speaking teacher, listening teacher and writing teacher !
