Yesterday’s Heroes & Helpers was a huge success. Thirteen deserving kiddos partnered with police officers to purchase Christmas presents and household items for their families. After shopping, the group wrapped gifts, made crafts, and ate pizza! Thank you volunteers & sponsors!
Last Thursday the city hosted some very special guests!! 100 second graders from Richfield STEM school toured the Municipal Center visiting Police, Fire, and the Mayor, and learning about city services. The Police Patrol Team gave them a great tour and some RPD swag!

The Olympics have ended in Paris, but Richfield volunteers are competing in their own event. They filled more than 400 backpacks with school supplies in just 90 minutes for Unity in the Community! Backpacks will be given to families in need on 8/15, 4-7 p.m. at 636 E 66th St.
