@afneil I can still remember my very first Economics lesson, c1956. We were told that wealth can only be created by 1. Utilising earth’s natural resources (MINING), 2. Changing something from a to b and making it more valuable (MANUFACTURING) or 3. Using the land to grow food (FARMING).
