@PhDVoice@PostdocVoice What is important when doing a PhD is to learn and master how to create knowledge. After this, you can contribute to any (sub) field of social sciences. Therefore, doing a second PhD doesn’t make sense :)

1/4 Just do a field study. That’s easier said than done. And, I have concerns. Agreed that field studies are great—they show creativity, enterprise and external validity. But, it’s becoming the norm for reviewers to ask for field studies and that’s very rough on young researchers
