Foreign minister Hamish Falconer refused to answer questions yesterday about the UK government’s failure to stop British nationals fighting for the Israeli army in Gaza.
It comes after more than 25,000 people signed a letter to the Foreign Office demanding they investigate UK citizens who fought in Gaza and may have committed war crimes.
Thousands of British nationals have served in the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) since the Gaza conflict began in 2023, according to a Freedom of Information response from the IDF first published by Declassified.

This is a total disgrace.
It is absolutely not the role of the police to intimidate members of the public - especially while openly admitting no law has been broken.
An affront to free speech and a massive overstep of authority.
The public expects the police to focus on real crime, like stopping burglaries, not squandering taxpayer funded time and abusing their powers by actively undermining free speech.

FWIW - the Sunday Times were about to publish a similar exposé to the Farage one, about Cameron's involvement in HSBC fraud cover-up. The editor Camilla Cavendish killed it, Cameron got re-elected, Cavendish got a job at No10 & then a peerage.

Where are we this morning?
George Cottrell’s lawyers acknowledged he paid for Nigel Farage’s staff and security. He did so via electronic transfer from bank accounts in his name.
On the townhouse, they said their client “does, and did” let Farage stay there.
Farage has sought to dismiss both.
On failing to declare funding for operation, he said he didn’t need to: he wasn’t a politician at the time.
On failing to declare use of house, he said he didn’t need to: Cottrell is a friend, so it is exempt.
Sources close to him are also downplaying this dimension generally, saying stays extremely infrequent.
The parliamentary rules say any benefit exceeding £300 in value that is not “purely personal” — ie romantic partner or family — and is in any way related to an MP’s “political activities” must be declared. This includes the 12 months before a new MP’s election.

For your information, this video was taken just an hour ago. It shows Israel blowing up buildings east of Khan Younis.
Again and again, shame on Western media that continues to call this a “ceasefire.”
By the Western media’s definition, an Israeli “ceasefire” apparently includes the continued killing of families, especially those with very young children, blowing up residential buildings, burning tents sheltering displaced people, banning international journalists, blocking life-saving medical supplies, and restricting, and on many days completely preventing, patients from leaving Gaza for urgently needed medical treatment abroad.

Reform looks increasingly less like a political party and more a private syndicate, populated by hoods and dodgy donors, whose aim is Farage
‘s self-enrichment and, when/if he wins power, their own. The disillusioned working class just prey. Important, revelatory journalism.
@daveatherton Apparently, Rowe doesn't live that far away from the pub & he has complained several times about the pub. Then he becomes a Cllr & suddenly the pub are told to remove their outside tables. Smacks of corruption & abuse of power doesn't it. Rowe should be investigated
The police are not actually doing their jobs anymore!!!! Instead they behave like Stasi working for the left. Oh don’t worry about your daughters being attacked!
Don’t be concerned about the ridiculous theft incidents! Knife crime ? Nahhh it’s ok but they’ll be round in a flash, mob handed if you disagree with some twit in the Twit party !???
@daveatherton When a local “councillor” has the ability to command the police to do his bidding then you have reached a dangerous point in the country’s history.
This is Cllr Rick Rowe, for the Green Party Chiswick Riverside. He proposed to stop outside seating in pubs along the Thames, which was critiallly commented on by Alastair. Rowe sent two police officers to warn him off about X posting on this issue & was threatened with arrest.
Last evening Rowe & his boyfriend visited the pub Alastair was drinking in. He was filmed & Rowe tried to grab his phone.
It appears the @MetCC Police passed on confidential information to Rowe.
This is deeply concerning.
Photographer Alastair Hilton was enjoying a pint with a friend when two Metropolitan Police officers tracked him down and warned him about his posts on social media.
Mr Hilton was asked to step outside the pub, where the officers read out the section of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 under which they threatened to arrest him should he cross the line.
This was all because Mr Hilton had shared a post protesting the actions of a local Green councillor, who had successfully campaigned to remove the outdoor seating from three pubs on the Thames riverside near his home.
While we do not approve of intimidating public office holders at their homes, gathering at a pub in the vicinity of a councillor’s house and standing up for your right to sit outside and enjoy a beer is not a crime.
We can already see how this legislation — with this provision having come into force only on 29th June — can be manipulated to silence dissent.
The Met Police again appear more interested in dealing with free speech disputes online rather than tackling real crime.
@London_W4, the FSU will write to you today.
⚡🇬🇧 Rupert Lowe dropped his three-point plan for Britain:
Suspend the asylum system while Britain regains control of immigration.
Deport those with no legal right to remain in the country.
Hold a binding referendum on the return of the death penalty.
Plod caught in a lie. The video evidence does not absolve the officer at all, despite them asking for this content not to be shared. It’s inappropriate for third grade public servants to be marking their homework with such impunity.
A police officer had his baton used against him by a black suspect.
British police are helpless against real criminals.
In other cases, they are vicious against white British victims.
The full video of a young English men getting arrested by two female police officers after defending himself against an attack by 3 foreigners in Birmingham has now been released.
He swung against one of the officers without connecting half a second after receiving a punch from one of the attackers and could not have known that he had just just been pushed up against a wall by a police officer. As soon as he saw that it was an officer, he didn’t swing again.
Despite the video evidence, the Birmingham police have announced that they support their officer’s version of the story and that the young man will be charged with assault against a police officer.
If sentenced, he will likely spend around 6 months to a year in prison as punching an officer is classified as an aggravated offence.
There was no effort by the officers to arrest the 3 foreign attackers.
Two-tier policing caught on tape…
YOU WERE NEVER WARNED ABOUT THIS BEFORE BOARDING YOUR FLIGHT
A retired airline captain named John Hoyte @JohnHoytePilot reached out to me recently. He flew commercially for nearly 30 years. He developed serious neurological damage mid-career. Lost his career. Then spent the next 20 years trying to warn the public about what happened to him.
What he shared with me should concern every single person who has ever sat on a plane.
Did you know the air inside most commercial aircraft does not come from outside?
It is compressed directly from the jet engines and pumped straight into the cabin. That is the air you and your family breathe for the entire flight.
When engine seals wear down, oil and hydraulic fluid leak into that air supply. Those fluids contain organophosphates. The same compounds found in nerve agents and certain pesticides. You inhale them without knowing. Without any warning.
In 2007, 27 pilots, cabin crew, passengers, doctors and scientists gave evidence to @UKParliament on this. On the record. Calling for urgent action.
Nothing changed.
@BBCPanorama covered it in 2008. A UK coroner recorded a death linked to contaminated cabin air in 2015. Twenty passengers on a single flight in 2007 were seriously injured. Their cases went to court. They won.
France has formally recognised aerotoxic syndrome as an occupational disease. America's largest personal injury firm is now taking mass cases. A US law professor is suing Boeing for $40 million after a single exposure left him permanently injured.
Almost every commercial jet except the Boeing 787 Dreamliner uses this system. The 787 was designed differently. A safer option always existed. The rest of the industry chose not to use it.
John founded the Aerotoxic Association in 2007 at the Houses of Parliament. He is 70 years old. He has been fighting this for two decades. Over 2,500 people have contacted him believing they were harmed.
He is still looking for a mainstream journalist willing to investigate this properly. That alone tells you everything about how buried this story has been.
Have you ever stepped off a flight feeling exhausted, foggy, or just not right and assumed it was the journey? That might not be the whole story.
Share this. The only reason this has stayed hidden for 70 years is that not enough people know about it.
Captain John Hoyte is available to answer every question directly. Contact him at [email protected]
