My name is Richard. I joined FinTwit in April 2020. My old account was banned and now I'm here.

My screenname RichyRichAF represents multiple things to me. It started as my alias from the main character in the movie "Richie Rich". I loved that movie as a kid and always identified with that character, so it was a perfect name for FinTwit.

Then, I decided to add AS FUCK at the end for a few reasons. First, it means to be RichyRich AF - to be me to the most degree. No holds barred. No fucks given.

Second, it's a prediction of when I'm Rich AF post-moass. Richy is Rich As Fuck. Get it?

Lastly, the Rich AF part also has a deeper meaning to me. Bob Marley once said, "possessions don't make you rich." And in the bible Jesus said, "I know you're poor and I know you're hurting, but you are rich!"

With everything going on in the world and in my life, I remind myself of that line over and over again, "FOR YOU ARE RICH!". To me, it means being a person of true value beyond material measure - to be rich AF in my soul and in my connection to God.

And that is my message to all of you during these crazy times. Do not forget that you too are RICH.
