@SplattrCatGames It's actually turned into an extremely cut throat and deceptive industry now imo and it didn't used to be like this. Large companies can silently bankroll a team of "indies" ( 20+ years exp ) to make there "first" ( studio in a subsidiary ) game. Then slap indie on it.

@SplattrCatGames As an actual small indie we do a tonne of duediligence on other games whilst where doing market research to see what games people like and what's great about certain games. One thing that's become apparent to me over the last 3 years is that a tonne of "indie" devs are not indie.
