Chaos erupted in the House today as Republicans, once again, failed to unite. A crucial vote on the SAVE Act, requiring proof of citizenship to vote, was delayed until Monday. Why? Because nine Republicans joined Democrats to push for proxy voting, allowing members to vote remotely for trivial reasons like childbirth. Speaker Mike Johnson called it unconstitutional and tried to kill it, but the defectors prevailed, shutting down the House.

This insanity also tanked the No Rogue Ruling Act, meant to stop rogue judges from blocking Trump’s agenda and letting criminals back into the country. Proxy voting, a practice absent for 300 years, should not be allowed or encouraged, it’s a distraction from urgent priorities. Democrats always vote in lockstep, while Republicans fracture, stalling critical bills. Trump needs these passed. Focus on citizenship and judges, not baby excuses. Get it done.
