Aldo Leopold moved from Arizona to #Madison, WI in 1924, bringing with him a treasured #clivia plant. 100 years later, this 6th generation cutting - gifted from a friend - is blooming for the first time! #aldoleopold@UWMadison
@jackcschultz My preference is more about habitat than species - coldwater spring creeks and streams vs lakes. But I’d like to try pike sometime; can be a thrill.
@StevenDAllison@buildingdecarb@ocregister I put in a system 1.5 yrs ago. Working great. Though in cold climates (Wisconsin) must still be coupled to conventional furnace for cold days.
@BethMooreLPM I’ve greatly appreciated your moral courage and ethical voice in recent years. But only now feel compelled to reply. Love this. The experience is great, but your response is even better!
@NKWhiteman Wow, fascinating! Quercetin is ubiquitous. This raises several important questions:
1. Can cats, who have deficient glucuronidation metabolism, drink red wine with impunity?
2. Should we not eat flavonoid-rich foods -like grapes- when drinking beer? But who does that anyway?
