BREAKING: Legendary filmmaker Spike Lee obliterates Donald Trump, says it would be a "doomsday" scenario if he wins the White House and he can't understand how "true Americans" could vote for such a person.
And he was just getting warmed up...
"He said there should be no more elections. I don’t know how people can be true Americans and just go along with that path," Lee said during an appearance on MSNBC.
"It would be a doomsday, I think," Lee went on, referring to a Trump victory.
"I’m not the only one to say that this possibly could be the most important presidential election in the history of this country. That’s how dire this is," he went on.
"This is not a joke. It’s not funny. This is like life and death," Lee added.
Lee then addressed President Obama's urging for Black men to vote for Kamala Harris—
"I gotta give credit to President Obama because he’s been going really hard on the brothers — some might think too hard, but I don’t think so. We gotta wake up and don’t go for the okie doke, the flim-flam — can’t do that," said Lee.
"It’s sad but true, some of my brothers have been drinking that Kool-Aid and I just hope that they get their minds straight, get their minds right, in time for this election," Lee continued.
"If they’re conscious, if they’re aware, there’s nothing that this other guy can do that’s going to put us — not just Black folks — but Americans, in a better position going forward," he said.
"We gotta support our sister to be the first woman president of the United States of America and the first sister," said Lee.

A British writer penned the best description of Donald Trump I’ve ever read:
“Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?”
A few things spring to mind. Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem. For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed. So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief.
Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever. I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman. But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is – his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty.
Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers. And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness.
There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface. Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront. Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul. And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that. He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat. He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.
And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully. That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead. There are unspoken rules to this stuff – the Queensberry rules of basic decency – and he breaks them all. He punches downwards – which a gentleman should, would, could never do – and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless – and he kicks them when they are down.
So the fact that a significant minority – perhaps a third – of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that:
• Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are.
• You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man.
This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid. He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump.
And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish: ‘My God… what… have… I… created?' If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.”

BREAKING: So-called "Democratic" Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema stab President Biden in the back once again by voting with Republicans to block his historic student loan forgiveness program.
Conservatives despise the life-changing program because it helps the poor and middle-class and they'd much rather that money go towards tax cuts for the super wealthy.
Manchin and Sinema are completely owned and ordered about by corporate interests and rich donors. They don't care about the American people, they care about their careers and making money. They have to go.
Thankfully, President Biden has vowed to use his executive powers to veto the bill and keep the program in place.
Retweet if you think that Manchin and Sinema must be primaried and replaced with real Democrats!
BREAKING: Music superstar Dave Matthew infuriates Republicans by ripping lawmakers for falsely convincing Americans that they are "powerless" to stop gun violence and that the “vulnerability of innocent people in this country is a sacrifice we have to make if we want to be truly American.”
“It’s so mind-bogglingly cruel. It’s insanity,” said Matthews.
“I have no idea how people can stand up and say it’s not guns’ and ‘NRA,’ it’s just mental health," he went on. "And then do nothing to address the fact that from the ‘80s we’ve closed every mental health institution we can in this country."
Matthew said that he has "many" friends who own firearms but they all agree that the would prefer that "a person can’t go into a school and blow people away after buying a gun.”
He then took aim squarely at right-wing paranoia and Fox News talking points by saying that "no is coming from your guns" but that we need a "conversation without mad outrage" about what can be done.
“I don’t like being afraid of my children being murdered at school. I’ve had to deal with my kids being at university when there is a shooting and they’ve lost friends,” he added.
Retweet to thank Dave Matthews for taking a stand!
BREAKING: A video still of the shooters gun in the Texas mall shooting appears to be an AR-15-style rifle.
The SAME gun more than 30 law enforcement officers were AFRAID to confront in Uvalde that left 19 children dead.
The SAME gun that’s been
the weapon of choice in many of the most horrific mass shootings in recent memory, including the Covenant school shooting in Nashville just two weeks ago.
The SAME gun brandished by Republican radicals like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert.
The SAME gun worn as a pin on the lapels of disgusting GOP lawmakers.
This is what we need to scream everywhere:
If 30 armed officers wearing full tactical gear with ballistic shields are too afraid to confront a single gunman with an AR-15, they SHOULD NOT be in the hands of civilians.
We have the answer. It’s the guns.
BAN ASSAULT RIFLES NOW.
BREAKING: Donald Trump lashes out at President Biden for announcing his 2024 reelection run and has the gall to actually call him the “single worst president in American history" and a "corrupt puppet," which are two descriptions that ironically far better fit Trump himself. RT IF YOU THINK THAT TRUMP WAS THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER!
