It is a pity that most of the best cricketers will not be involved with the 50 over competition which will begin on the 25th May. They will be playing the WKT 20. This will make a lottery of the 50 over competition. I understand the thinking playing the T 20 competition first.

In The Netherlands, the men play 2 formats of cricket, short (20 overs) and long (50 overs). Delighted to see that the short form will be done and dusted by 25th May so we can concentrate on the long form during the actual summer.
