@AlecBCHall @EricMTerrill1 Repairing crashed vehicles are just plain expensive because imagine trying to get the crumple zone repaired right without getting that part just replaced. It's easier to get the car running straight, lookin' straight without getting everything "computer" straight.

You'd only find drum brakes on the back maybe even into the 80s (a guess, as I never really worked on 80s cars) but if you may, why are rear drum brakes not acceptable?

@LibertyJen fyi 03-08 corolla odometer doesn't go past 300k (miles or kms) some say they're bad but I had a good one. 01-02 I'd say stay away, no one needs to suffer that thing. These are way over priced 10-15 years ago, I hate that it's the norm now.

@yishan Too specific of a weld - there's a laset welder that beginners can use that's almost fail proof with all the flexibility of a regular welding tool. I've seen Xtool's, holy pricy but you don't need to experiment, learn, practice for years to get great welds.
