PurposeDrivenLife

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

The only thing that will matter is what God says about you.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

The Bible says, "Our purpose is to please God, not people."

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

One day God will review your answers to these life questions.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

Did you put Jesus at the center of your life?

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

Did you develop his character?

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

Did you devote your life to serving others?

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

Did you communicate his message and fulfill his mission?

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

Did you love and participate in his family?

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

These are the only issues that will count.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

As Paul said, "Our goal is to measure up to God's plan for us."

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

GOD WANTS TO USE YOU

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

About thirty years ago, I noticed a little phrase in Acts 13:36 that forever altered the direction of my life.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

It was only seven words but, like the stamp of a searing got branding iron, my life was permanently marked by these words:

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

"David served God's purpose in his generation.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

Now I understood why God called David #amanaftermyownheart.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

David dedicated his life to fulfilling Ine's purposes on earth.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

There is no greater epitaph than that statement!

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

Imagine it chiseled on your tombstone:

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

That you served God's purpose in your generation.

[PurposeDrivenLife @RickWarren40]

My prayer is that people will be able to say that about me when I die.
