So pleased to share this patient series of a complex tumour (i.e. PADUA>10) in a *solitary* kidney 😱 yes it’s difficult OPN surgery, with high complications BUT patients can live dialysis free AND with acceptable oncology outcomes. Thanks @tsoburol@GuysUrology@BJUIjournal 🤓
@Pippa_Sangster@gordonhmuir@Urology_KCH@GuysUrology Thanks @Pippa_Sangster for giving a great presentation online to Australian Urology trainees last week for our Trainee Week. Much appreciated international speaker on male infertility - a great example of learning via a virtual platform helping those with limited exposure
Trainees commence #USANZ Trainee Week tomorrow. We'd like to sincerely thank the members of our Scientific Committee: Michael Wines, Rick Catterwell, Robert Goodwin, Marc Heinau, Lydia Johns Putra and Jon-Paul Meyer. It's going to be a great #usanztw20@urologytraining
A special #NAIDOCWeek moment at @RFDS_CO_EGMMRS today. The unveiling of a beautiful Indigenous portrait, which has been incorporated onto our @RoyalFlyingDoc uniforms. An honour to have SA Premier, @marshall_steven present to meet the artists and staff members on base.
#HospitalLaPaz has given me 10 excellent years of training and professional growth as urologist. It’s time to say farewell to all my colleagues and friends, to move forward and start a new project “Change and to be dynamic are laws of life” Good bye & thank you all!
Good paper. 20 years of widespread holmium laser usage, not a single report of eye injury. Prescription glasses as good as laser glasses for eye protection with lasers of this wavelength. #lasersafety

If transrectal biopsy was proposed as a ‘novel’ technique today it would not get through an ethics committee! Better a/biotic protocols is the wrong end of the issue. As urologists we should plan the end of transrectal biopsies and focus on better transperineal techniques.
