@Scouting_Col How do you think Montas @ Toledo will do?

2029 6’5” guard Delan Montgomery showed major growth at the Hoop Exchange Fall Festival heading into his sophomore season at Mater Lakes.

Montgomery looked more confident as a scorer and showed improvement with his perimeter shot. He knocked down shots from outside, attacked off the dribble and used his size to finish around the rim.

The progress in his offensive game was noticeable, and Montgomery looks ready to take a significant step forward as a sophomore.

2027 Miami Country Day guard Miguel Orbe (6'3") has taken a significant step forward this season. The junior has improved markedly in efficiency and decision-making, which was on full display at HoopFeast in Wesley Chapel. In his first three games, Orbe is averaging 35 points per contest, including 35 points against Bell Creek (6-of-10 from three) and 44 points versus Parrish Community (8-of-14 from deep).

What sets Orbe apart is his off-ball movement and shot creation. He consistently relocated and found open spaces on the perimeter, knocking down shots in rhythm without forcing the action. Beyond catch-and-shoot opportunities, Orbe demonstrated a polished ability to create his own shot off the dribble and finish at the rim, picking his spots well and scoring efficiently within the flow of the offense.

On the defensive end, his length allows him to stay in front of ball-handlers, disrupt passing lanes, and make it difficult for opponents to create separation. His combination of shooting, off-ball awareness, shot creation, finishing ability, and defensive presence makes him a complete guard capable of impacting the game in multiple ways. HoopFeast showcased not only his scoring prowess but also his ability to dictate tempo and create opportunities for himself and others, signaling continued growth as he moves toward the next level.

2028 6’1 PG Lynden Adea (@Lynden_adea2028)- Saint Andrew’s

Adea is a calm guard who didn’t get rattled when opposing guards blitzed him in the backcourt. He was also dangerous on the attack where he got to the free throw line on numerous occasions. He knocked down the game-winning free throw to lift his team to an overtime win over Coral Glades. #FABCLivePeriod

'28 Branden Sharp has a physical style to his game. Scores in the paint with strength, has a nice tear drop floater and gets after it on defense. Powered Sagemont Prep to a win over Oak Ridge w/17 points and a couple of steals. @FABCHoops

We're not talking enough about De'Shayne Montgomery

After starting as a freshman in the MAAC and a season as a role player in the SEC, Montgomery transferred to Dayton, where he's been one of the best players in the A-10 🏆

What do we think of this game 🤔

De’Shayne Montgomery was (@d35hayne) lethal yesterday, igniting a second-half surge that powered past Loyola Chicago.

The 6’4” junior put on display exactly why NBA scouts are circling his name: fearless scoring with an edge, backed by relentless, hound-like defense.

[Jonathan Wasserman @NBADraftWass]

Another strong game from Dayton's De'Shayne Montgomery who's having an interesting breakout. Only NCAA player with 20+ 3PTM, 15 dunks, 3.0 STL%. Exciting athlete (66% 2PT), shooting 45% 3PT, blowing up plays defensively, PnR scorer.
