@kroger@Instacart This is unacceptable for a myriad of reasons and we decided to post this for those living on fixed incomes, rely on these and millions of people who would not be able to pay their bills, for medication etc if an Instacart shopper stole $83.17 from them.
We spent an hour on the phone with @kroger customer service, who initially told us that we authorized the substitution 🙄 which was easy to disprove. After we pushed back, the rep agreed to process our refund, get this…IN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS!
@kroger@Instacart Upon further investigation, we discovered that our Instacart shopper substituted $83.17 worth of groceries for themselves (even including alcoholic beverages).
Buyer Beware: Do not use @Instacart / @kroger delivery! Yesterday, we ordered groceries from Kroger and delivered them via their vendor Instacart to our dear friends who are down with Covid. After delivery was confirmed, we noticed that we were charged an additional $83.17.
